Volunteers are the heart and soul of CCHFH. Because of people like you, hardworking families have access to better quality of life.
Volunteering with Habitat is as easy as 1-2-3! Take the steps below to get started.
3 Steps to Volunteering
CCHFH has opportunities for you to work side-by-side with a new homebuyer to build a new home, help a customer at our ReStore, lead a class of new homeowners in budget planning and so much more. The volunteer opportunities vary and are always meaningful and fun.
Step 1: Complete Volunteer Orientation
Orientation is required because we believe it will provide you with an understanding of our programs, information on how to get started, and a chance to ask questions.
If you are applying for court ordered community service hours, please note that on the Volunteer Inquiry Form. After you submit your form, you will receive a Community Service Volunteer Application to complete before you can begin your service.
Can’t wait to get started?
We may be able to use your help right away on one of our upcoming events or projects, so check out our calendar for details. While you'll be limited to certain projects, we may be able to use your support in the meantime!

How You Can Volunteer
Enjoy a team-building opportunity with your company, provide outreach and fellowship opportunities for your congregation, or bring a group of friends together to support affordable homeownership.
Each year, volunteers from all across the country work alongside new families to build, renovate, repair and paint homes as well as support our ReStore and operations.
Want to make a meaningful difference? You and your friends, family or co-workers can volunteer for an exciting day on a homebuilding project!
The first step to becoming an individual volunteer is orientation. Orientation is required.
Our volunteer orientation provides details on our programs, safety information (ReStore and on construction sites), and a chance to ask questions.
Absolutely! Orientation covers ReStore topics and Construction Volunteer information that equips you with the training and preparation to volunteer at build sites, family services, in the office, and more.
We ask that you honor your commitment and stay for the entirety of the shift. You will be notified of the timeframe and length of each event before committing.
For safety reasons, we are unable to accommodate youth under the age of 16 on the
build site, ReStore, or in the office.
Thank you for contacting us.
