1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Calhoun Cleburne Habitat for Humanity is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide site work services for a HOME-assisted residential construction project. Work includes, but is not limited to:
- Site clearing and grubbing
- Rough and fine grading
- Excavation and fill
- Driveway installation (gravel base and surface)
- Erosion and sediment control measures
- Gravel placement in designated areas
- Demo of a structure
- Tree removal
The project is funded in whole or in part through the HOME Investment Partnerships Program and is subject to all applicable federal regulations.
2. CONTRACT TIME
Work shall commence within 10 days of Notice to Proceed and be substantially complete within 30 calendar days.
3. BID SUBMISSION
Sealed bids will be received until:

Bids received after the deadline will not be considered.
Bids will be publicly opened at the above location immediately following the submission deadline.
4. PROCUREMENT REQUIREMENTS
This procurement is conducted in accordance with:
- 2 CFR Part 200 (Uniform Administrative Requirements)
- Applicable state and local procurement regulations
- HOME program requirements
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Calhoun Cleburne Habitat for Humanity reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
5. FEDERAL REQUIREMENTS (If Applicable)
The following federal requirements may apply:
- Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968
- Davis-Bacon prevailing wages (if applicable based on unit count)
- Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise outreach
- Debarment and suspension certification
- Equal Opportunity provisions
Contractors must not be listed on the federal System for Award Management (SAM) exclusion list.
6. BONDING & INSURANCE
The successful bidder may be required to provide:
- Performance and payment bonds
- Proof of general liability insurance
- Workers’ compensation coverage
